7am - Matt and Leslie played pt.4 of their interview with legendary rock photographer Bob Gruen. Bob spoke about going to London and hanging with Malcolm McLaren at his clothing store, Sex, how Malcolm wanted to manage the NY Dolls and when they din't come to London, Malcolm started The Sex Pistols with Johnny Rotten. Johnny's sung Alice Cooper's "I'm Eighteen" to get into the band. Listen tomorrow for the last part of the interview. Check out this part right here on the Pinfield blog.
8am - Ian Astbury took over the RXP studios. Ian was here to promote his benefit concert taking place at the Bowery Electric on May 09. Ian will be performing with his new band, The Soft Revolt, to raise money for the "Apollonia Players" production of John Patrick Shanley's "Savage in Limbo."
Starving Artists pay $30.00 and regular folk pay $50.00.
Ian also spoke about his bands, seeing The Beatles as a young boy, helped Peter Macia from Fader magazine sell a lot of magazines and spoke with Duff McKagen about the old days touring together. Check out the complete Ian Astbury interview on the Pinfield podcast.

9am - Duff McKagen called in to talk about his new album, the self titled LP, Loaded. Duff spoke with Ian about the days when they were a little more wild, Duff spoke about his upcoming gigs in NY and LI and confirmed he will be guest hosting "The Matt Pinfield Show" on May 18.
