Foo Fighters, Butch Vig
There
is more information about the Foo Fighters upcoming album! Rolling
Stone reports that the band will work with producer Butch Vig on the
effort which they plan on recording in September. The band is working with Vig in part to
celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s Nevermind album,
which Vig produced. Frontman Dave Grohl says the band will record the
record entirely in analog in Grohl’s garage and says he feels it could be their
“heaviest album yet.”

The Doors
When You’re Strange, the new documentary about The Doors, comes out on April 9th,
and the soundtrack to the film will be on shelves three days earlier on the 6th. That album will boast studio and live
recordings from The Doors plus singer Jim Morrison’s poetry as read by Johnny
Depp, who narrates the film. If that

Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now returns to number one on the Billboard
album chart, bumping Sade’s Soldier of Love down to number
two. After a three-week run at number
two on the chart, Lady A returns to top selling over 126-thousand copies,

Owl City are
about to embark on a spring headlining tour in support of their album, Ocean
Eyes. The “Fireflies” group will hit
the road on March 30th in Boise, Idaho, and will remain out until they wrap on May 4th
in Des Moines, Iowa.
The band can also be proud because Ocean Eyes was recently
certified Gold by the RIAA. For a

Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse
There
has been much talk about Amy Winehouse and ex-husband Blake
Fielder-Civil getting remarried, but could it be happening “within
weeks?” According to British paper The
Sun, multiple sources have said that the troubled couple will tie the knot
in Las Vegas
sooner rather than later. A source said
that Winehouse “can't stop talking to people about their future together.” Blake has been recently quoted as saying that
he won’t get back with Amy until she checks herself into rehab for alcohol
addiction.

Beastie Boys Adam Yauch
says he hopes the group will release their new album, Hot Sauce Committee
Part I, in September. Yauch, who is recovering from cancer, says the
release will depend on how he is doing health-wise in the fall, but does say he

Mustaine, Rock Hall
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place on Monday
and so far, this year seems to be without much controversy. The same
can’t be said of last year’s inductions, when Metallica did not invite former guitarist and current Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine to join them. Mustaine told us about his status
with Metallica these days and his thoughts on the Rock Hall.
