He gave us a little taste that morning and ever since, Leslie has been pushing him to sing it live on the show. All week we were trying to find a female singer to come in and sing the Kirsty MacColl part of the song, just when it wasn't looking good . . .we had a twist of Fate. Local band, The Spring Standards came in on Thursday and performed live . . .the band is a trio - James, James and Heather. We asked if they could come in and be the backing band for the song and if Heather could sing with Matt - fortunatley for us, they agreed.
Listen hear to hear the song as performed by Matt Pinfield and The ...

This Weekend Leslie came across a story that involved modern day interrogation techniques and the use of music - basically blaring music to make prisoners uncomfortable . . .some music supiposedly that has been used include everything from Rock & Metal to The Barney Song.
There are certainly some songs that are tortuous to listen to . . . Matt could do without "How Bizaar" by OMC, Leslie's nightmare is "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani, as for me, hearing Barney this morning was tortuous for the few minutes i had to listen.
