6am – Matt and Leslie welcomed everyone to the show and kicked off the Definitive 1019 Countdown. The first song on the list of songs you voted for, No. 1019, was “Way Down Now” by World Party. Matt and Leslie talked about Hurricane Earl hitting the area sometime today. The last song of the 6:00 hour was The Cure’s classic tune “Boys Don’t Cry” which came in at No. 1108.
7am – In lieu of spinning Matt’s iPod this morning, the Definitive 1019 Countdown, your favorite songs from the past 3 decades, continued with Oasis and the title track off of their fantastic 1995 album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory. Song No. 1000 in the countdown was the track “Wake Up” off of Arcade Fire’s debut, Funeral. The last song played in the 7:00 hour was “Have a Drink on Me” off of AC/DC’s most famous Back in Black. ...

Hey guys! I'm really excited about today, as it marks the day before the beginning of the Definitive 1019. Tomorrow morning at 6:00, Leslie and I will kick off the countdown of the top 1,019 rock songs of the past three decades. It's like Christmas Eve for a toddler; I can barely contain myself! I'm about to pee in my pants! But that'd be nothing new, now would it? Am I right?
Anyway, today's show may have been the greatest. Leslie and I spoke about the news, as we're in-tune with the world. I had some great commentary on stories. You'll just have to tune in next time to hear my insight.
My cellphone went off again on the air. Silly me!
I have some other things I could write, but I really need to go eat the onion sandwich I have sitting in the break room. ...

6am - Matt and leslie started today's show talking about Matt's training for his bicycle race, Matt watching Dexter w/ his girlfriend and I'm w/ the band. Matt and Leslie then played a performance from Real Housewives of NJ Danielle Staub, which was horrible. Leslie gave us all the news about Hurricane Earl, Tiger Woods, cabbie slashed and Rudy G's daughter.
7am - Matt played "It Aint Over Til Its Over" by Lenny Kravitz for the Ipod today. We took calls to see if anyone had issues w/ parking garages. We learned someone had there headlights stolen and someone lost a ounce of cocaine. More news about Tiger, 11 year old dying to young and Roger Clemens pleads not guilty.
8am - Matt played "Sweet Jane" by The Velvet Underground for the 8am Ipod today. Tom Morello stopped by and helped Matt talk about Road Recovery. Listen to ...
